Hi all,

It has been a while and I have been enjoying the summer but
I have a few dangling problems and maybe someone has some advise or possible
parts for sale.

The Atwater Kent 45 I have needs a speaker. I was wondering
how I could figure out what kind of replacement I could make of a modern
speaker. The thing is I have no idea what the field coil resistance is so I
could match one. I did check out that very good web site on Atwater
Kent’s
but the ONLY model NOT listed is the 45! What to do? Any ideas?

The Gloritone 26 I have needs a field coil. It is center
tapped with resistance of 2460 and 9040 Ohms. The part number is 2555 Radio
Corp number. The coil itself has a fair open but somewhat intermittent
operation. I am to the point where I figure open it up and see what is
happening as I haven’t much to lose. I have no way of cross referencing it.
Maybe someone has a part or an equivalent I could buy.

I also have a Philco 48-200. The 1st IF transformer
is not working. It appears to have good DC resistance but it probably has a
defective internal cap. The part number is 32-3967. I did check
oldradioparts.com but no deal. I am looking for this part also.

So this is my problems and if anyone has an idea or a part I
would welcome it. Thanks again.Edward
