Hi Mike,

Thanks for the input.  My thinking for the first whack at this is 
primarily for club members, perhaps with kids or grandkids in tow.  It 
may develop to the point where we do a bunch of kids only, but I see 
that as a further undertaking.  One of my current models is my cub-scout 
den, years ago, where we had 7 10-year olds and seven parents. 

Thanks for the Hobbytron suggestion.  I didn't know of them.  I was 
about to poo-poo the kit suggestion, but they have a kit similar to the 
one Radio Shack sold in the old days (E-MX-901C), of which I approve.  
It's based on a ferrite rod (prewound) and a variable cap.  I'm sure it 
works much better than the other two they carry.  However, I'm still 
leaning toward a less commercial approach for the first session.

I'll keep you in mind for the clips.
