I had one of these sets some 10 plus years ago but it didn't have Canadian
markings - only classic RCA Marine markings. I was told there were a number
of these assigned to MARS hams. In the early days of MARS - (perhaps even now
??) they used to give people R390's and other surplus radio gear. I picked
the RCA set from the estate of someone who also had some other MARS
equipment. I forget what I did with the set but it was well before Ebay and the
newsgroups. I think I sold it either at the old Heightstown meet or Tranquility
or Schooleys... It is a rack mount unit as I recall like a Globe King - but
Im not sure it had 3 sections or just 2 (transmitter/receiver/power or
transmitter-power on one chassis, receiver the other).
