Hi Scott,
I recommend a military URM-25D or F signal generator,
which goes all the way down to 10KC.
Another good one is the HP-606A/B, which start at
50KC, which is just good enough. Do you have a freq
counter? For what you're doing, I recommend the use of
a freq counter when using an older analog sig gen.
I would be happy to *loan* you my URM-25F. I don't
wanna sell it, however. I assume you want to align the
50.75 KC IF in your SX-111?
You can probably get away with doing it by ear in a
pinch.
