Hi Everyone-
I just picked up another Signal Generator, a nice
Boonton Radio one, with a separate power supply, both
are rack mount units.
I have not tested them yet, but have opened the cases,
and both are in beautiful shape. I mainly picked them
up to save them from the scrap heap: they are in good
shape, and I thought they looked real neat. Only thing
is, the signal generator is 90 to 140 MC, and I need
one which covers 50 khz... It was used at an aircraft
avionics repair station.
The model numbers are: Type 211A and Type 211 API
If anyone is interested in swapping for something else
I can use, I can send pics, and will probably give
them a test this week. I have a couple pics if anyone
would like a look.
I am looking for a couple things: Sig/Gen which covers
50.75Khz, BC-375, ART-13, Triplett model 666SC
multimeter, military, part of Test Set I-56-J, and the
tube adapter set for the same test set. If anyone has
any of these they wouldn't mind parting with for a
reasonable price, or swap, please let me know!
And if anyone has any use for the most abused HP 623
test set in the world, contact me. It was apparently
filled with water for a long time, and inside is a
solid rust red- even all the tubes shattered,
presumably from the water freezing around them... I
have pics of that, too. Very sad... But the case,
face, and some assorted bits seem to be of use. This
thing even had a beautiful vernier adjusting
mechanism- looks like a large micrometer handle
sticking out the front.
Thanks- See everyone in January!
Scott
