[NJARC] Philco 37-84 almost there! maybe?

Hi all,
 
I'm a novice member who needs a little help. My Philco 37-84   restoration 
has gone well, re-capped - new resistors - "IF" coil problem fixed.  However I 
only receive a signal when I place my finger on the grid cap of the  Det-Osc 
tube (6J7G). The signal is good and clear. Do I just need to trace the  signal 
better? Any help?
