[NJARC] Hamfest on Cape Cod = Found Ameco AC-1

Hi Gang,

I'm on a short vacation visiting my grandchildren near Boston.  I attended a Hamfest on Cape Cod and found an Ameco AC-1 transmitter in very clean original condition - and from the original owner.  It was a good day.

I also found 3 WE carbon microphones #600 in extremly clean condition, and a Layfaytte carbon microphone on a home made ring stand.

Also two early variablle capacitors and two large ham crystals from the late 30s.

Last, I found a direction indicator for a beam antenna, circa 1949, or so.

Total hamfest attendance was probably 50 to 75.  Message: the small hamfests can be fun, and it beats going shopping with my daughter.

BTW= I'm surfing wireless on someones network near my daughter's home.  This is kind of exciting!
