Phil,
As long as you use equalizing resistors in parallel with the capacitors, one
per capacitor (as opposed to a single bleeder resistor for both) the voltage
rating goes up. For example, if the original circuit had a single 22K/2W
bleeder resistor, go with 2 12K/2W bleeders in series, with the junction
point of the resistors tied to the junction point of the capacitors.

Guys,
I'm replacing a 10uf 150 volt filter cap and I have a bunch of 22uf 100
volt capacitors. I know if I put two of these in series the 22 uf becomes 11
uf. But will the voltage rating be 200 volts? If so, then I will use them in
this application. I'm not going to apply power until I hear from you guys.
