There used to be a radio store in Medford- out Rt 70
near the Southampton(Vincentown) line.. Perhaps it was
even on the Vincentown side of the line... I went
there several years back, and they had room after room
stocked with parts- I remember seeing shelved walls
completely filled with new tubes!(this was in the
early 1990's)
Well, I went there about 5 or 6 years ago to get a
tube, and not only were the tubes gone, the 150+ year
old house they had been in was completely gone. Only
the driveway was left.
I was kind of annoyed.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings that thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill, 'The Contest in America', Feb. 1862
