[NJARC] Disc Capacitors

Hi Nick,

Good feedback from everybody regarding disc caps. An
important thing to consider: disc caps came along
relatively late in the vacuum-tube era, and were not
really commonplace until the late 50's/early 60's.

Someone mentioned the SP-600 -- an excellent example.
I have an *early* 600 with tubular caps and they're
all bad or going bad. The thing needs to be rebuilt --
it's a nightmare. I WISH I had a later 600 with disc
caps! ;-)

Notice that I did NOT mention the repair clinic in
this email! ;-)
