A Zenith Model 7-H-920.
Plastic, or Bakelite, material.
What would be a safe cleaning agent for the case?
It is grimy, and a sticker that was on the top left a sticky residue.
Thanks for any assistance.

First of all the sticky label -- Goo Gone - at Home Depot works extremely
well for that and doesnt damage the surface.. Its good to have around for all
label removal, excess glue removal, etc. Re cleaning and polishing the
plastic or bakelite - I have always used simple soapy warm water and soft cloth,
then good clear water rinse off. I then use Armorall to apply a nice sheen
altho it seems to add to the dust magnet abilty of the piece. There are plastic
polishes avail in hobby stores - and Antique Radio supply places - but I
havn't used them.
