Hello All,

The hot hot weather the past weekend was a killer. Only Ray Chase and
Phil and Mrs. Vourtsis helped out. We made good progress, but we were
just a few.

We mowed around the hotel and library, cut the bushes behind the
hotel, cut vines out of some of the fence and nearly completed painting
the hotel entrance foyer. Much to my surprise the Army removed the
piles of dirt and contractor debris from the parking lot. So things
look better, especially considering the heat.

  We now have a men's room and a woman's restroom working...with hot
water even. We also have two showers working in the hotel men's room.

If you can spare some time to paint, remove boards from the downstairs
hotel windows, or clean the hotel porch or help cut the bushes infront
of the hotel it would help make the site look better for the
dedication. If we scare potential donors, it will not help our efforts.

If four persons help for 2 hours each we get a day worth of work.

Please help! If you can make it during the week I can arrange so you
can get inside. Just email me.

There are just two weekends until the 13th!!!

Thank you,
Fred
