Hi,
Cleaning a chassis. Don't be afraid of soap & water and a tooth brush. I
even use a brass brush sometimes. Just watch any silk screenings. Use a
gentle compressed air to dry. Then lube with a dry lube like LPS "1". Also
if it is just a plain steel chassis I use an automotive wheel cleaner which
states "safe on all finishes" on the label. Wheel cleaner is also good for
tube pins. I usually follow up with a spray of water and baking soda to
neutralize any acids and then lube with the LPS. (Liquid petroleum Spray AKA
LPS is a trade name). You can also call me if you need any more info on 609
597-1819...Frank

thought I would mist with denatured alcohol and use a paint brush to clean
accessible parts, then drip dry. Finally I would use a hair dryer on low
heat to dry(using adequate ventillation, eg outside or in a garage with the
door open) Anyone have a better idea? Nick Senker
