[NJARC] Cleaning a tuner

hi guys

it was nice to see you at the clinic on 1/29.  thanks to all who helped!
i have a 47 crosley tv  that is working but i was recommended to clean the
tuner.  it has a dumont continuous tuner
Can i just use a spray cleaner or something different?  also can i just spray
the cleaner into the opening or do i need to disassmble the casing around the
tuner.  it appears rather difficult to get the metal housing around the tuner
seperated.
