Larry,
From the power outputs you've described, it appears as if
everything is working FBOM. Don't expect as much power on the higher bands
as the lower ones. Do you plan on using it on CW , 'Fone, or both? I hear
plenty of DX-60's on AM and they seem to make a pretty good account of
themselves. I'd recap the power supply, replace all of the old
electrolytics, etc, to give it some integrity. Power output on 'Fone should
be in the neighborhood of 20W or so. It uses carrier controlled AM. Any hi-Z
mike should work fine with it.
