[NJARC] Short wave and solder?

Hi guys:

My 1948 rack rig is ready for its first test flight.

While I was working on it...I would listen to my Telefunken Gavotte and enjoy 
some Middle Eastern music while thinking of lightly clad belly dancers.

On occasion, I would have to make a solder joint using my soldering gun.

Darn if the signal strength and volume of the SW station wouldn't increase 
while I made the connection.

Why?
