Subject: OT's equipment

Hi Michael,
as chairperson for the Warminster ARC club Hamfest I
recently got a call from an elderly lady who lives in
New Jersey. She has recently put her 80 year old husband
in a nursing home because of disabling dementia. He was
a life-long engineer and ham (not sure if he still has
active license though), worked on Apollo moon lander
and for Tektronix and RCA. He apparently has an extensive
collection of older Tek gear (scopes and plug-ins) and
also tubes and extensive library. She is seeking help
to get the stuff out of their home in Medford Lakes (not
sure where that is) and she's staying with her daughter
at the moment in Marleton. Do you have anyone in your club
able to help her or at least check out their stuff and tell
her what the best thing to do with the collection might be?

Let me know asap, tnx, 73,
 bill strunk
