[NJARC] Navy receiver

  At a flea market I recently saw (but do not own) a made for the US Navy receiver. See photo at

I have searched the net and turned up nothing about this receiver. 

  It is a model BAC-6000 made by the Industrial Tool & Die Works, Inc. from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Navy Contract N-140-S   70560A. It is a 6(?) tube AM/SW receiver in a metal case. Runs off AC or 6 volts DC.

 Is anyone familiar with this set or know where I could find more information? Is this a morale reciver? Is this an unusal find? TIA.
