[NJARC] Upcoming NJARC elections

I think it would be a fine idea for anyone who is interested in pursuing a 
position as either an elected or appointed official of the NJARC to express his 
or her sentiments in a written statement to the club and to publish that 
statement well in advance of the election date.

I believe it also would be appropriate to review the charter of the NJARC and 
determine if the intents and purposes of the club, as stated in the charter, 
continue to properly reflect the current needs and interests of the members. 
If necessary, the charter should be either amended or rewritten.

More important than who ultimately assumes the duties and responsibilities of 
guiding the NJARC is that everyone in the club take an active interest in the 
process of making these important choices. The future of the NJARC deserves 
the sincere attention of every member.
