The last time I was out there was about one year ago and the antenna farm
was still there. They have some very strange looking arrays.

NJARC'ers,
There is a new Radio Museum coming to New Jersey. It's coming to the
building that NJARC could have had (and probably owned) a couple of years
ago. It's the former overseas AT&T transmitter site "WOO" in Oceangate.
The building is massive and has a huge antenna field associated with
it. In this building we could have had our regular meetings in one
section, and used other portions for a major museum, with work shops and
parts storage, and libraries, all at the same time. Plus, the view from
the third floor office is breathtaking, sunrise and sunsets especially.
If you are interested in joining the group that is running it, I'm sure
they would like members, as it is just getting off the ground.
Check out the photos on this web page, it will blow you mind.
..... Chalk this up as another one to: if you snooze your loose.

PS: there's a lot of radio history on there, click around on some of the
links.
