Hi Gang,
I have been invited to display my Old Radio Museum at the Pumpkin Run
Street Rod and Old Engine Show on October 25, at Flemings Auto Parts on
Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township, my home town. (Rain Date Sunday October
26.) This event has grown over the last few years, and as many as 5,000
attendees are expected, with as many as 700 cars. Food, fleamarket and
other interesting activities and displays will also be there. This is the
biggest event held in EHT. See the official web site.

I have a great location selected along a main walkway with electricity and
a few near-by trees for antennas. I'm planning to erect at least one
dipole and to be on the air using an antenna tuner on 40-20 meters. I'll
set up my antennas the weekend before at the site.
I thought that this would be a good opportunity if any NJARC'ers would like
to travel to southern New Jersey and set up an old broadcast radio display
adjacent to my museum. During the show I'll be busy inside my museum and
won't be able to talk about the old broadcast radios. I'll bring a few
along for display though. I can stake out as much room as I need.
If for some reason the club is unable to participate, anyone who is
available is welcome to hang out at the museum with me. There is a small
charge for parking ($5.00 I think). The show runs from 8 AM until 4 PM.
