"Radio Collector's Guide" by McMahon lists the set, model 620, as a 1930, 10
tube, AC, highboy. It sold new for $150.00 without tubes. There was also a 110
volt, DC version.

Magnavox abandoned radio manufacturing "in mid 1927 in favor of dynamic
speakers." They sold these speakers to other set manufacturers. (From Alan
Douglas, "Radio Manufacturers of the 1920's".) I have a BelRad cathedral radio
from about 1931-32 that has a Magnavox speaker in it.
