The 620 Sparton is also not in the book: "The Complete Price Guide to
Antique Radios: Pre-War Consoles" by Mark Stein. Most of the Sparton
consoles in this price guide for the earlier '30s seemed to be priced in the
$300 range. We all know that these books are only a guide, however.
"The Radio Collector's Directory and Price Guide" by Robert Grinder makes
reference to the 620 and shows it as a 1930 Battery Set, High Boy with 10
tubes. It has no stars which indicates that there is no reference to price
the set from past transactions at meets, auctions, etc.
If it's a battery set it's value is somewhat lower than an equivalent
electric set, as a VERY general rule.
That's all I've got here.
Phil
