Joe: I would post such a question on the newsgroup rec.antiques.radio+phono
There are plenty of Zenith folks there, and as a whole, the newsgroup is
pretty good and orderly. There are some flame wars once in awhile.
You can read and post through Google (it's very slow on new posts, but has a
great searching capability going back many years) or you can use your ISP
which probably gives you access to newsgroups. You have AOL, they have
excellent and fast access to posts in newsgroups on their server but the
reader is terrible in the AOL program.
If you already know all of this stuff please just ignore the suggestion.
I only have one Zenith console, a 10S567 which has the flywheel and belt.
The flywheel is fine, the belt I made from stock sold from some Zenith parts
web site and glued it together by butting the ends together on a diagonal
cut using super glue. Hasn't broken in 4 years.
Good luck, Phil WB2IQG
