NNARS is sponsoring an exam session for the EmComm EC001 Level-I Emergency
Communications Course. The exam will be held this coming Sunday, November
3rd at the VA Hospital in Reno. We utilize their portable classroom MG10A
which is on the northeast corner of the facility. The session will open at
1300 and continue as long as needed.
You do not need to have attended the Level-I classes to take the exam. You
do not need to be an ARRL member to take the exam. You must be a licensed
amateur radio operator. Cost for the exam is $10.00 payable in cash or by
check to ARRL.
The exam requires a score of 80% correct or higher to pass. Once you pass
the exam, your score will be mailed to ARRL and you will be notified by
e-mail when your certificate is available for download via the internet.
You may also request that your certificate be mailed to you at no additional
cost.
At this session, we are only offering the Level-I examination. Future
sessions will include exams for Levels II and III as well. If you have any
questions, please contact Paul Cavnar, NN7B, at: [email protected] or Matt
Parker, N7TOD, at: [email protected]
