This is the Scout camp up between Red Feather Lakes and the Shambala
Center..... Otherwise known as Ben Delatour Scout camp. I believe that
146.625 pl100 works fine up there. And depending on how high one is
447.700 pl 100 has worked for me too. You really need more than an HT
with a Duck. A groundplane on a tall pole would work wonders for
communications. A little power dosen't hurt but an HT with good antenna
would probably and the proper location has worked well in the past.
