Please consider this:  WE DO NOT NEED MORE FUEL ON THE FIRE!

How about if everyone steps back, takes a few deep breaths, and allows
their tempers to cool down?  Please, keep your issues!  They do need
to be addressed, but with reason and respect for the other individuals
involved.

I would like to point out that we are all INDIVIDUALS, not clones of each
other.  Dissension is a necessary part of finding the best path for the
group.  "All of us is smarter than any ONE of us!"

My personal opinion is of little weight, as I certainly do not have all
the facts.  I will not voice support for any particular 'side'.

However, I would like to voice my support for NCARC.  We all can agree that
it is a valuable member of the community, both local and world-wide.
Let's not forget the worthwhile goals that NCARC supports.  It takes
people to realize those goals, and we are the pool that those volunteers
are recruited from. (Sorry for the poor English!) 

We can disagree, but without all of us, things are left undone that DO
need to be done.  Each of you that drops out forces a heavier burden onto
the remainder.  It's your right to withdraw, but are those the
consequences you favor? 

So, I suggest a truce!  Even a grudgingly given handshake and apologies
for hasty words could smooth a lot of ruffled feathers! 

EACH of you are of value to NCARC.  NONE of you are excess.  I know a
little of the talents that are involved in this unfortunate mess, and I 
would not want to see any depart.  Before you take extreme actions, please
consider the damage you might do to NCARC and Amateur Radio.
