[NCARC] HAMFEST 2012 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The NCARC Hamfest 2012 Committee is looking for a "few good hams" to help
with this year's event.

 

We have once again secured the Thomas M. McKee building located at The Ranch
for our Hamfest.  The date is January 21, 2012.

 

This is my second and LAST year as the Hamfest Committee Chair!  We need
someone to step up who would like to run the event in 2013.  You will be
able to "learn the ropes" without all the pressure.

 

Planning is well under way but we need 5 - 7 key volunteers right away!

 

Please visit the Club website and check the Hamfest page for further
information.

 

The page will be changing frequently from this point on so continue to check
there often!

 

There is an attached document on the webpage detailing the positions we need
filled now. 

 

Please read this document.  It's a partial list of what we need to get done.
Please know that I had to do most of this by myself last year!

 

Our organizational structure is based on the ARES Incident Command System
(ICS).  You can read more about why we have chosen the ICS by going to the
webpage.

 

We will also need A LOT of volunteers the day of the event of course so if
you are not able to fill one of these spots but can work the event PLEASE
CALL ME!

 

We have some exciting new things coming this year so you will want to be
involved with this year's planning.
