Folks

I mentioned this at the ARES D-10 meeting and at the NCARC meeting.
Remember this is a Federal government site and firearms are not allowed
even in vehicles, I recommend you leave them at home as your vehicle
will be searched.

Recommended blocks of time are 4 hours but any open time you want you
can take. Expect one or two these times additional operators from
Denver may be there as well but more operators is not bad. Please
review the event URL for operating procedures.

*If you want to participate I must have your full name by noon Wednesday
to provide to the NWS office so you can be allowed on-site.* Ensure you
bring proper government ID as it will be checked and you will be going
through a metal detector (not as bad as a TSA pat down.)

Here are available times. (Remember I need full names by Noon on
Wednesday, November 30th)
5:00pm to 9:00pm -- Mike N7DQ, Aaron N0WAR, and Justin N0AOL
9pm to Mid-night: Open
Mid-night to 6am: Open
6am to Noon: Open
Noon to 5pm: Open

      *2011 SKYWARN^TM Recognition Day*

      December 3, 2011, from 0000z to 2400z

SKYWARN^TM Recognition Day was developed in 1999 by the National Weather
Service and the American Radio Relay League. It celebrates the
contributions that volunteer SKYWARN^TM radio operators make to the
National Weather Service. During the day SKYWARN^TM operators visit NWS
offices and contact other radio operators across the world.
