So the big 480 V power transformer that resides in the man hole xxxxxxxxx
make that person hole across the street decided it had had enough and
detonated with a loud bang, a lot of smoke and odor.   Some of the lights
went out.  A lot of computers crashed and things generally got weird around
the work place.   Large 3 phase compressor and fan motors not having enough
power to spin up stalled and some started to release smoke too.   I got the
remainder of the afternoon off since "they" decided that it would be a good
idea to cut power to the building and restart when the full power is
restored.

I spent my extra time off work finishing up the news letter.  Which is on
the NCARC.NET web site.    ENJOY!
