[NCARC] QST: General Invite to Ham radio class: May 4 - June 15th 7-8:30+ PM Loveland

Hi all-

We're holding a technician class amateur radio class over the next two
months.  We will cover the core part of the material necessary to know in
order to pass the Technician class FCC license.   Attendance is open to all
who are interested.  Here are the details:

Dates and Time:	Thursday evenings, 7:00 pm - 8:30+ pm
			Thur May 4th - Thur June 15th. (6 sessions, 7th is test)
			June 15th session will be the VE test

Place:		Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
			3800 Mountain Lion Dr
			Loveland, CO 80537
			We will meet in “Primary Room” for all but 1 class session.
			There is an entrance for this room on the west end of the north wall of
building.

Fees:			Purchase your own book "Now You're Talking.  5th Edition $19.95
Available at 			some book stores, from Amazon.com, from the ARRL at
www.arrl.org or from Ham 				Radio Outlet in Denver.  2-3 people can share a
copy also.

Testing fee:	$14.00 (payable on June 15th if you take the test)


It's ok to miss the first class especially if you are already interested and
know about all the cool aspects of ham radio--- but it would be good if you
could attend that one also.  We will have links to some of the material we
will show.
