Hi folks-

The NCARC is looking for hams who would like to teach a segment of an
upcoming FCC Technician class. This class will be offered for 8-9 weeks
starting in early May, and the classes will be on Thursday evenings from
7-8:30 pm in Loveland. About 10 people have expressed an interest so far
in a class. Please let me know if you would be interested in teaching one
(or more) of the topics. The class will use the "Now You're Talking" book
from ARRL.

Teaching a class can be very rewarding, and is also a fantastic way to get
in and really understand a facet of ham radio. Please consider signing up!
Let me know sometime this week.

Topics include (some of these are 1/2 sessions)

- FCC rules
- Operating an amateur radio station
- Radio Wave propagation
- Amateur Radio practices
- Understanding Basic Electrical Principles
- Circuit components
- Practical Circuits
- Amateur Radio Signals and Emissions
- Choosing an Antenna
- RF Radiation Safety
- Selecting Your equipment
