QST to all NCARC members-
Here's a really nice invitation extended to NCARC members from Richard Kile,
WB7THT of the LRA. The LRA (Loveland Repeater Association) is hosting
their annual holiday season dinner held at the Wayside Inn. The LRA and the
NCARC have long worked together on events, education classes for young hams
to be, and in fact many have membership in both organizations. Please
consider attending this fun and joyful event!

Hi Steve,
Over the last 6 years a group of hams from the LRA has gotten together for
dinner at the Wayside Inn. No business is conducted. It is just a quiet
gathering of ham radio friends and their significant others, getting
together to celebrate the holidays and enjoy dinner together.
This year the event is on Friday, 9 December at the Wayside Inn. Here are
the details:
When: 9 December 2005 (the Friday evening after our December club meeting)
Cash bar at 6:30PM (that means you pay) with dinner at 7:00PM
Where: Wayside Inn, Berthoud, CO
What: The dinner this year will again be served buffet style and includes:
Fresh Garden Salad with choice of Dressing, Baked Ham, Roasted Turkey with
Sage Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Honey Glazed Carrots, Rolls and
Butter, Apple and Pumpkin Pie Coffee, Iced Tea and Hot Tea
Cost: $20 per person including tax and gratuity, children age 3 through 10
are $10, and under 3 years of age are free
Please contact Rick Kile, WA7BNG, at wa7bng at arrl.net to make reservations.
Please pay in advance and make checks payable to the LRA. Hope to see you
there for an evening with great food, good friends and a bit of holiday
cheer.
At this point you may be wondering...I'm not an LRA member...why did Rick
send me this note?
Attendance at this dinner has hovered in the 20-25 person range for the last
several years. I thought that we might get a few hams from the NCARC to join
us this year. As President of the NCARC, please extend our invitation to
join the LRA for Christmas dinner. Anyone interested in joining us should
contact me in advance.
I hope we'll see you there.
Rick, WA7BNG
