Hi, Kevin:

My vehicle, a 2016 model, has a 120vac outlet at the rear of the console.
I can power at least one node and one laptop with it.
I have done some 'war driving' with this setup many times on
2 and 5 GHz WiFi. I have upgraded firmware, modified settings, and rebooted
nodes from the car. Perhaps I'll try to power my link nodes, RasPBX, and
one IP phone from the car.

By various contrived methods our local ARES groups have always managed
to exclude mesh from their tests.

Recently Ohio conducted a 'digital' test, but excluded 802.11n emissions.
Locally, our upcoming SET scenario is only allowing solar powered stations.
