[MVMA] Mesh Discussion Net

Chuck,

I think Phil and John hit two relevant points about the Tuesday mesh 
discussion net: activity of the net is greatly influenced by the 
activity going on with equipment, etc. and the discussions online about 
the MVMA and mesh activity have possibly reduced questions for the net.

I went back and looked at Tuesday night mesh net length before the 
online discussion intensified in October.  The 42 mesh discussion nets 
since the beginning of the year averaged 13 minutes with 6 exceeding 20 
minutes. Phil was correct that some went beyond 10 p.m., the longest 
lasting 52 minutes. Since the online exchanges became frequent the 
longest net was 8 minutes and the average about 5 minutes.

Perhaps this mail list is a better vehicle for discussion. Your message 
definitely generated more activity that any recent Tuesday night net. I 
think it is an appropriate topic for the committee re-examining the 
MVMA. As someone who is not active in mesh I have learned a lot about 
mesh from both the Tuesday night net and the mail list exchanges.
