[MVMA] KAS: After 2018-11-20: What ?

I will use this latest available local documentation as a reference:
http://www.miamivalleymesh.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Mesh-Networks-101-Introduction-V22-Script.pdf

I feel that all Neighborhood, High-profile, and Backhaul stations
should be, at a minimum, multi-node and preferably multi-band.
I feel that High-profile and Backhaul stations should have a minimum of
2 nodes not on 2397 MHz.
Neighborhood stations should have at least 2 nodes.
No station should have more than one node on 2397 MHz.

A single node station is defined as 'Terminal' class.

Previously, KAS was a Terminal class station being utilized as Terminal,
Neighborhood, High-profile, and Backhaul. :-(

The current location of the Rocket M2 on KAS tower is on the side
opposite from N8ADO and W8LRJ.
*
** I propose that a new node be installed on KAS tower favoring the
direction of N8ADO and W8LRJ.**
**Band/channel TBD.**
**
** I propose that a 2nd node be installed at KAS for the purpose of
linking to at least one other**
**Neighborhood, High-profile, or Backhaul station.

* Those two changes would elevate KAS from Terminal class to at least
Neighborhood class.

As long as no tunnels are installed, using the current inventory of 32
MB RAM devices is acceptable.

Using the current inventory of SISO devices is acceptable.

If the current location of the Rocket M2 was replaced with a new node
(a Rocket M3 and AMO-3G12),
that would be good for linking with MVHS (and me, as I have 2 spare
NS-M3s and spare reflectors).

Due to the very short distance to be spanned to reach the 2 likely ham
stations in the area,
any available band would likely perform well. N8ADO is 0.8 miles and
W8LRJ is 0.9 miles from KAS.
There are other prospective hams within 4 miles of KAS, however IMO, to
span distances greater
the 2 miles requires an antenna elevation => 40' agl. I know of no
prospective 'mesher' within 4
miles of KAS with the capacity to place an antenna at that elevation.

A 3rd node installed at KAS favoring Xenia or DARA would allow KAS to
function as a High-profile and Backhaul switch.
However, except during Hamvention time, I see no potential for mesh
activity growth in greater Xenia/XWARN.
