(non-2.4 GHz non-SISO) MIMO is more than "new and shiny."
It is
* multiple channels, opportunity for a 'clear channel'
* double the bandwidth, 20 .vs. 10 MHz
* double the streams.
i.e. Opportunity for a 400% increase in throughput.
