Open note to MVMA:

Would MVMA consider MIMO omni-directional nodes
not on 2397 MHz at
Vandalia WT, MVHS, DAYCO, KAS, DARA, ... ?

MVMA no longer promotes Linksys WRT54Gs, perhaps it is time
to stop promoting 2397 MHz, 10 MHz bandwidth, SISO devices
(Bullet, Air Router, Air Grid). Note that there are 28 references
or images of SISO devices in Mesh-Networks-101-Introduction-V22-Script.pdf.

I believe there are some current meshers that are
willing to invest in non-SISO node devices.

"If you build it, they will come."

If we promote MIMO usage, perhaps the
future new meshers will not have initial purchases of
Bullet+Lcom, Air Grid, and/or Air Router.

e.g.
  A PBE-M2-400 device is 33% the cost of a Bullet+Lcom.
  A loco M2 is 25% the cost of a Bullet+Lcom.
  A Nanostation M2 is 40% the cost of a Bullet+Lcom.

  Not only just SISO,
but maybe it is time to abandon supporting, promoting, maintaining, and
repairing 2397 MHz nodes.
Some 3 and 5 GHz MIMO devices are cheaper than a Bullet_M2+Lcom.
In specific occasions, 900 MHz has proven an appropriate choice and
cheaper than a Bullet+Lcom.
