SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON...MONMOUTH AND
SOUTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...
At 455 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over Woodruff, or
16 miles northwest of Toms River, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell,
Marlboro, Manalapan, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Beachwood, Matawan,
Jamesburg, Manasquan, Hightstown, Point Pleasant Beach, Lakehurst,
Allentown, Farmingdale and Roosevelt.
This includes the following highways...
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 79 and 107.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 6 and 34.
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 7 and 8A.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
