...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN SUSSEX AND
SOUTHEASTERN KENT COUNTIES...
At 228 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Big Stone
Beach, or 18 miles southeast of Dover, moving south at 10 mph.
Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm. Although the storm should mostly stay off shore, wind gusts
up to 45 mph could reach several miles inland away from the main
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Milford, Lewes, Milton, Ellendale, Bowers, Henlopen Acres, Big Stone
Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, Frederica, Dewey Beach and
Riverview.
If outdoors especially right along the shore, consider seeking
shelter inside a building.
