...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL BERKS AND NORTHWESTERN
MONTGOMERY COUNTIES...

At 801 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Fairview Hgts,
or 7 miles northwest of Reading, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Pottstown, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, Leesport, Shoemakersville, Elverson, Bechtelsville, New
Morgan, Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts, Gilbertsville, Stowe,
Shillington, West Reading, Boyertown and Mount Penn.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
