...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN KENT...NORTHEASTERN
QUEEN ANNE'S AND NORTHEASTERN CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 748 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Starkey Corner,
or near Centerville, moving southeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Denton, Centreville, Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely,
Church Hill, Sudlersville, Goldsboro, Viola, Jumptown, Starkey
Corner, Sandtown, Carville, Hope, Felton, Henderson, Marydel,
Templeville and Barclay.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
