ANNE'S...NORTHEASTERN CAROLINE...KENT AND SOUTH CENTRAL CECIL
COUNTIES...

At 704 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Newtown, or 13
miles south of Aberdeen Proving Ground, moving southeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Chestertown, Centreville, Rock Hall, Church Hill,
Sudlersville, Betterton, Old Town, Grasonville, Starr, Langford,
Newtown, Overton, Starkey Corner, Wye Mills, Morgnec, Crumpton,
Carville, Kennedyville and Hope.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
