...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN
HUNTERDON AND NORTHERN SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 1234 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Califon, or
17 miles northwest of Somerville, moving east at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
shower.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Madison, Middlesex, Hackettstown, Morris Plains, Mendham,
Peapack And Gladstone, Chester, Hampton, Califon, Far Hills, Long
Valley, Martinsville, Millington, Basking Ridge, Beatyestown,
Succasunna-Kenvil, Bernardsville and Hanover Township.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 20 and 38.
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 28 and 41.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this shower, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
