...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM EDT
FOR ATLANTIC...OCEAN...CAPE MAY...SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND
MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 1257 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Holmdel to Somers Point, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Atlantic City, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Ocean City, Cape
May, Sandy Hook, Lakewood, Middletown, Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell,
Marlboro, Barnegat, Pleasantville, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Hammonton,
Red Bank and Beachwood.

This includes the following highways...
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 0 and 23.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 0 and 120.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 16 and 34.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

This severe thunderstorm may contain little or no lightning. Do not
wait until you hear thunder before taking cover.
