...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM EDT FOR
WARREN...NORTHEASTERN CARBON...MONROE AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 104 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in much
of Warren County in New Jersey and Northampton County in
Pennsylvania. Several roads are closed. Travel is strongly
discouraged. Flash flooding will continue for the next few hours.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Easton, Mount Pocono, Forks, East Stroudsburg, Hackettstown,
Tobyhanna, Wilson, Washington, Blairstown, Nazareth, Bangor, Pen
Argyl, Wind Gap, Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Alpha, Hope, Belfast and
Hampton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 8.
 Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 22.
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 278 and 314.
 Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 73 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
