...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN LEHIGH...SOUTHEASTERN CARBON...CENTRAL MONROE AND
CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 512 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gilbert, or 14
miles south of Mount Pocono, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, Bethlehem, Northampton, East Stroudsburg, Nazareth,
Palmerton, Bangor, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath, Walnutport,
Belfast, Tatamy, East Bangor, Steuben, Delaware Water Gap,
Stormville, Tannersville and Kresgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for eastern and
northeastern Pennsylvania.
