...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHERN SALEM...CAMDEN...GLOUCESTER...
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHWESTERN PHILADELPHIA AND SOUTHERN
DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 709 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Ben Franklin Bridge to Swedesboro to Carneys Point to
North Star, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Wilmington, Gloucester City, Chester, Deptford,
Voorhees, West Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Pennsville, Bellmawr,
Yeadon, Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton, Carneys Point, Berlin, Folcroft
and Swarthmore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for northern
Delaware...southern New Jersey...and southeastern Pennsylvania.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
