...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SUSSEX...NORTHERN WARREN...EAST
CENTRAL MONROE AND NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 740 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Delaware Water
Gap, or 14 miles southeast of Mount Pocono, moving northeast at 35
mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, East Stroudsburg, Blairstown,
Franklin, Hamburg, Ogdensburg, Sussex, Branchville, High Point, Werry
Lake, Millbrook, Delaware Water Gap, Pellettown, Crandon Lakes,
Hainesville, Flatbrookville, Analomink and Five Points.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
