...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHERN SUSSEX...
SOUTHERN KENT...EAST CENTRAL TALBOT AND SOUTHERN CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 245 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Tanyard to near Harrington to Milton.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.

Easton, Georgetown, Cape May, Milford, Denton, Harrington, Lewes,
Milton, Bridgeville, West Cape May, Preston, Ellendale, Bowers,
Smithville, Cape Henlopen State Park, Agner, Andrewsville, Tanyard,
Harmony and Matthews.
